Reading recipes does not require an account. We do not sell reader information or run advertising trackers.

Kitchen tools

Recipe quantities, ingredient checkmarks and conversions stay in your browser while you use the page. We do not send the values you enter to an analytics provider.

Basic site measurement

When this site is publicly launched, we count page views and use of recipe tools by day, page and broad referral category such as search or Pinterest. These are aggregate event counts, not identified people. Our measurement does not set a visitor cookie or retain full referring URLs, search terms or IP addresses. Test previews and signed-in editors are excluded. Browser “Do Not Track” is respected.

Recipe feedback

The optional recipe feedback form sends your chosen topic and message to the editorial team. It is not a public comment. We do not ask for your name or email; please do not include personal or sensitive information. Messages older than 90 days are removed when new feedback is processed or editors open the feedback dashboard. Since no contact details are collected, we cannot reply directly.

Editor login

Editors receive a secure, HTTP-only session cookie that expires after eight hours. It is used only to protect the content workspace. Login attempts are rate-limited using a short-lived, keyed identifier derived from the connecting IP address. Raw IP addresses are not stored in this application database. Identifiers rotate every 15 minutes; expired limit records are removed when the next login is attempted.

Hosting and external links

Our public website uses Cloudflare for DNS, HTTPS and the connection to our server. Cloudflare processes connection information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the website under its own privacy policy. Our application does not create a visitor access log; operational error and service logs are kept on the server. We have not enabled a separate Cloudflare Logpush export.
